{something we found in the whitney electric}

As some of you may know, the Whitney Electric was home to one particularly great art installation this past week. Jody Joyner, a senior studio art major at Colorado College, created a multi-sensory experience that could best be described by the following words and phrases: prairie, Scandinavia, dry winters, off-season beach houses, and side-of-the-highway sleepovers. The piece sparked a near “dream-like” state, which could best be described as an unsettling peace. The colors, the sounds, and even the ambient temperature of the room totally immersed us in Jody’s vision. Don’t take our word for it though – check out the pictures.
