{agnes martin’s cook book}

It appears to be, to me, a possibility, that it could be, that the minimalist and majestic painter, Agnes Martin, designed the bus stop wind-breakers at the Denver International Airport.

I’ll prove it.

So these are Ms. Martin’s paintings…

…and here is the bus stop at DIA.

Proximity theory: Martin lived in New Mexico for much of her life, which is just a quick drive south of Denver.

Even if she was not directly involved in the windbreakers, she can at least be credited with exerting a cactus-cool aesthetic presence.

Keep your eyes peeled, banana peel, for moments of art in life, but please dig deeper than this…

Or not.

Boiled carrots,
